Flashing Firmware#

Uploading BIN Firmware#

Here, I did not choose the firmware compiled by major websites, but opted to compile my own firmware, mainly because I need fewer functions, just enough for normal internet access and scientific internet access.

  • Check the firmware
  • Select your preferred firmware (.bin file)
  • Confirm auto-restart is checked
  • Click upload

After successful upload, the following interface will be displayed, click update

Wait for the update to complete

Modify IP#

Capture4

  • Note: Since this is my self-compiled firmware, the default IP has been modified, you can modify it according to your own firmware, the gateway is the default IP of the firmware, and the IP address should be set to the same subnet.

Enter the management backend (my username is root, password is password)
Default theme interface

Capture6

Change password, modify theme (I personally feel that Argon looks quite good, so I integrated it directly into the firmware during compilation)

Shell DIY#

Drawing the Blueprint#

I did not measure the relevant dimensions myself, but directly modified the blueprints from DIY masters online, after all, I am using it myself... If there are issues with the blueprint dimensions, it would be really troublesome, I don't know if the author is in this forum, and I am very grateful to the original author for their help~

  • Blueprint display (the original author's acrylic board has heat dissipation, since I am not adding a hard drive, there should be no problem with heat dissipation... Of course, I can't add a hard drive... I will explain the reason later)

Conclusion#

I have been using Xiao Yu C3+ self-compiled firmware for two weeks, and so far I have not found any issues.#

Although the article title is "Pit Avoidance Guide," it can only be said to record the process of tinkering, and share it with everyone~#
